Boosting Dibenzothiophene Biodesulfurization Through Implantation of a Refactored DBT Pathway in a Tailored Pseudomonas putida Chassis. [PDF]
This study engineered a Pseudomonas putida strain to efficiently remove sulfur from dibenzothiophene (DBT) by reordering and optimising the dsz operon from Rhodococcus qingshengii IGTS8, enhancing catalytic activity and stability. The modified strain, P. putida DS006, showed high desulfurization efficiency in model biodesulfurization systems.

Hydrodesulfurization of Thiophene over Ni‐Doped MoS 2 ‐Supported Mesoporous Silica [PDF]
The catalytic conversion of thiophene to paraffinic hydrocarbons is presented using mesoporous SBA‐15‐supported MoS2 and NiMoS2 catalysts. Few‐layer MoS2 nanosheets decorate the surface and pore walls, while Ni incorporation enhances hydrogen activation and promotes NiMoS phases.
