Effects of air-lift reactor dimensions on its hydrodinamic characteristics
In this study the hydrodynamic characteristics of the external loop airlift bioreactors were investigated. The influence of reactor height and solid particles concentration on the mean liquid circulation velocity was examined. Also, the possibility of theoretical prediction of this liquid circulation velocity was assessed.

HYDRODINAMIC STUDY OF CLAY PARTICLES IN FLUIDIZED BED
The aim of the present study was to establish the optimal operating dynamic parameters in fluidized bed for the sodium clay particles and pillared clay particles. In order to determine the influence of the clay particles on the structure of the fluidized bed, the conditions in which the incipient fluidization appears were determined depending on the ...

Numerical validation of hydrodinamic cavitation generation using perforated plates
This research shows the analysis of three case studies using perforated plates with a central orifice to generate hydrodynamic cavitation with diameters of 2 mm, 3 mm, and 4 mm. Experimental model was fabricated and instrumented to validate numerical models of the perforated plates and their corresponding pressure drop.

Hydrodinamic Aspects of a High-Speed SWATH and New Hull Form
The main problems of high-speed ships operating in open seas are their insufficient seaworthiness and speed loss in high sea states. Small Water-plane Area Twin-Hulls (SWATH) are characterised by excellent seaworthiness, but the hull forms of a traditional SWATH are not suited for higher speeds.
