A hydrodinamic effect that can be used in small discharge measurement

Flow Measurement and Instrumentation, 2003
Abstract If a heavier than water body is introduced into a tube filled with water, closed at one end, and if the tube is turned over 180°, the body, surprisingly, will go upward and the water will flow downward. For this presented fact, a theoretical model was developed by using the momentum equation.

Hydrodinamics of liquid film on cylindrical surface

2017
A theoretical study of the film movement of the liquid phase on the surface of a permeable cylinder under the influence of the mass forces of gravity and the swirling gas flow has been carried out. The differential equations of motion were determined for the first time, the exact solutions for the velocity components provided adhesion film on the ...

Particular analytical solutions of the hydrodinamic equations

1987
Some particular solutions of the hydrodynamic equations are presented. In the solutions the velocity is a complex exponential on space variables, i.e. it is a real exponential multiplied by sine and cosine functions. The amplitude of the exponential is a time dependent complex vector.

ELECTRO-HYDRODINAMIC ANALOGOUS SIMULATION OF PRESSURE CONTROL

An electronic analog model has been developed to simulate the compressor pressure control process. The model is a hybrid system using a real frequency inverter. The dynamics of the process in real time for different analog models of the hydrodynamic structure of the compressor pressure line have been studied. A data acquisition computer system has been

Hydrodinamics in the swash zone

2000
This paper describes a study of the hydrodynamics in the swash zone using an impermeable concrete beach in a laboratory flume. Analysis was made of the measurements achieved using level wave gauges and a laser Doppler velocimeter. From these measurements we could derive the mean motion and turbulence characteristics along the main flow direction in ...

[Features of hydrodinamics in drainage of the upper urinary tract (experimental study)].

Urologiia (Moscow, Russia : 1999), 2013
The present article is devoted to the search for the physical factors affecting the intrapelvic pressure in patients with kidney catheters. Based on mathematical prediction and experiment, value of air bubbles, hampering urine outflow and contributing to the development of purulent postoperative complications in urology, was demonstrated.
