Modeling Investigation of Potential Sea Level Rise Effect on Hydrodynamics and Sediment Transport in Hyères Bay, France

open access: yesJournal of Eta Maritime Science
Global climate change increases storm frequency and Sea Level Rise (SLR). This leads to an increased risk of coastal flooding, reduced effectiveness of protective structures, and intensified coastal erosion and retreat.

Mechanically Programmable DNA Hydrogel Microparticles for 3D Cellular Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
DNA hydrogel microparticles are designed to exhibit controllable viscoelasticity and stiffness across three orders of magnitude from 30Pa$30 \,\mathrm{Pa}$ to 6.5kPa$6.5 \,\mathrm{kPa}$. They are uptaken into fibroblast spheroids where they are actively remodeled by cellular forces depending on their mechanical properties.

Riemann Invariants and Rank-k Solutions of Hyperbolic Systems

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper we employ a "direct method" in order to obtain rank-k solutions of any hyperbolic system of first order quasilinear differential equations in many dimensions.

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

Symmetry Extensions and Their Physical Reasons in the Kinetic and Hydrodynamic Plasma Models

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2008
Characteristic examples of continuous symmetries in hydrodynamic plasma theory (partial differential equations) and in kinetic Vlasov-Maxwell models (integro-differential equations) are considered.

Mechanically Spatio‐Chimeric Fibrin Assembly Enables Vascular‐Integrated Muscle Reconstruction for Volumetric Muscle Loss Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
SPARC (spatio‐chimeric, plasma‐based, anisotropic, and shear‐responsive construct) that integrates myogenic and vascular microenvironments within a single construct. The dual‐modulus matrix directs aligned myotube formation and endothelial network development, enabling a vascularized muscle implant that seamlessly anastomoses with host tissue and ...
