The image shows a schematic form a nanobody‐conjugated theranostic prodrug (NBD) platform targeting tumor‐associated αvβ3 integrin. The NBD system integrates selective nanobody‐mediated tumor recognition, glutathione‐responsive disulfide cleavage for doxorubicin release, and aza‐BODIPY‐based near‐infrared fluorescence for real‐time imaging.

Dynamic behaviour of oil lubricated journal bearings [PDF]
This thesis is concerned with the dynamic behaviour of oil lubricated journal bearings and particularly with the small vibrations about the equilibrium position known as 'oil whirl'.

This systematic review quantitatively compares conventional mechanical stimulation strategies in cartilage tissue engineering across 85 heterogeneous in vitro studies. Applying standardized effect measures, meta‐analysis reveals that combined compression and shear loading optimally promotes cartilage matrix development.

Neutrophil‐Mimetic MRI Enables Ultra‐Early Detection of Vascular Inflammation After Stroke
In this study, we developed neutrophil‐mimetic MRI probes that detect ultra‐early neuroinflammation following ischemic stroke by targeting E‐selectin. Within seconds of their injection, these microparticles mimic initial leukocyte adhesion to the activated cerebral endothelium.

Monitoring hydrodynamic bearings with acoustic emission and vibration analysis
Acoustic emission (AE) is one of many available technologies for condition health monitoring and diagnosis of rotating machines such as bearings. In recent years there have been many developments in the use of Acoustic Emission technology (AET) and ...

Model Development and Stability Analysis for a Turbocharger Rotor System under Multi-Field Coupled Forces [PDF]
Automotive turbochargers have been widely applied in vehicles in order to increase the power output of internal combustion engines by increasing the air to fuel ratio entering the piston cylinders.

The parasitic frictional losses in an engine are estimated to account for 20% of the total engine losses. These include those due to piston assembly (45%), bearings (25%), pumping action (20%) and those attributed to the valve train system (10%). Thus, a
