Curvature‐Tuned Friction at Electrified Ionic Liquid Interfaces
Graphene curvature plays a key role in friction electrotunability at single‐asperity contacts lubricated by ionic liquids. A 9 nm radius yields stronger tunability than larger radii, with distinct friction coefficients at low and high loads indicating a shift in the slippage plane.

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.

Representing buildings and urban features in hydrodynamic flood models
Flood risk in cities and built‐up areas is a major threat which is likely to grow due to increased urbanisation and climate change. It is a priority for urban planning, civil defence and insurance to accurately represent buildings and urban features in ...

Instabilities and chaos in a kinetic equation for active nematics
We study dry active nematics at the kinetic equation level, stressing the differences with the well-known Doi theory for non-active rods near thermal equilibrium.

Fluorescent Nanosensor for Indole‐3‐Propionic Acid Detection in Gut Health Monitoring
This work introduces a fluorescent nanosensor system with two optical modalities for detection of indole‐3‐propionic acid (IPA) gut metabolite: (1) blue‐emitting cationic conjugated polyelectrolyte (CP3) and (2) near‐infrared (NIR)‐emitting CP3‐wrapped single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWNT).

A droplet microfluidic platform is employed to enable high‐throughput, uniform tumor spheroid generation for evaluating siRNA‐loaded nanomedicines at the protein level. As a proof of concept, breast (MCF‐7) and brain (U87 MG) cancer cell lines are investigated using this platform, revealing penetration profiles and therapeutic responses between the two

Heave Plate Shape Effects on the Motion Performance of 15 MW Floating Offshore Wind Turbine
Floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs) are essential for meeting global renewable energy goals, yet their viability depends strongly on platform motion in harsh marine environments and the resulting influence on structural loading and the levelized cost

Engineering of Glioblastoma‐Derived Biomimetic Vesicles and Their Structural and Molecular Features
ABSTRACT Biomimetic nanosystems and vesicles have arisen as a novel approach to design vesicular transport systems with diverse therapeutic potential. The ‘biomimetic’ strategy involves the integration of cell membrane components into lipid bilayers, conferring them with biological properties originating from the cell of origin. Until now, most studies

We developed a novel copper‐doped aluminum nano‐adjuvant (CuNA) to overcome cytarabine resistance in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). CuNA effectively sensitizes drug‐resistant AML cells to cytarabine by inducing mitochondrial dysfunction and inhibiting HMGCR/GPX4 to amplify ferroptosis.
