AbstractFluid ‘hydroforming’ is a powdered catalyst operation that owes its success to continued research and development on naphtha‐upgrading. Its predecessor, fixed‐bed ‘hydroforming’, was employed commercially to make aromatics and aviation gasoline during World War II.

Finite element simulation of the tube hydroforming process—bending, preforming and hydroforming
Journal of Materials Processing Technology, 2002Abstract This paper covers finite element simulations of the complete hydroforming process for the lower part of an A-pillar for a car. Simulations were carried out for the bending, preforming and hydroforming process using the MPP-version of the explicit code LS-DYNA.

Operational Report on Hydroformer
Journal of the Fuel Society of Japan, 1956東亜燃料工業のS.O.D.

Hydroforming (Sheets and Tubes)
2014Hydroforming is a soft tool forming process, where a liquid medium, generally water with a small percentage of added oil, is pressurized and controlled by means of a hydraulic circuit and used to deform the workpiece, either a tube or a sheet, into the final component shape.
