Hydrogen production for energy: An overview
, 2020Power to hydrogen is a promising solution for storing variable Renewable Energy (RE) to achieve a 100% renewable and sustainable hydrogen economy. The hydrogen-based energy system (energy to hydrogen to energy) comprises four main stages; production ...

Hydrogenative Cyclopropanation and Hydrogenative Metathesis
Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 2019AbstractThe unusual geminal hydrogenation of a propargyl alcohol derivative with [CpXRuCl] as the catalyst entails formation of pianostool ruthenium carbenes in the first place; these reactive intermediates can be intercepted with tethered alkenes to give either cyclopropanes or cyclic olefins as the result of a formal metathesis event.

Hydrogen and Hydrogen-Storage Materials
2007Currently, neutron applications in the field of hydrogen and hydrogen-storagematerials represent a large and promising research area, both from the fundamental and the applied points of view. In this chapter we review some relevant topics from this subject area, including hydrogen bulk properties (concerning both the solid and the liquid phases ...

Hydrogen in energy transition: A review
International journal of hydrogen energy, 2021The energy transition is not something that awaits us in the next decade. On the contrary, it is a process in which we are already deeply enrolled. The main step towards the creation of a carbon-neutral society is the implementation of renewable energy ...

A study was made of the activation of hydrogen in the alternating-current corona discharge at atmospheric pressure. The resulting test for sulphide was negative unless the gas contained a small percentage of oxygen. Oxygen promoted the activation by acting as a wall poison.
