Development of Aluminum Scandium Alloys for Hydrogen Storage Valves

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Different aluminum alloy series and various aluminum‐scandium alloys with differing Sc and Zr levels are evaluated for use in hydrogen storage valve production. The alloys undergo hardness testing, optical microscopy, and tensile strength analysis, with hardening behavior studied under varying conditions.

N′-(5-Bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-3,4,5-trihydroxybenzohydrazide dihydrate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2008
The title compound, C14H11BrN2O5·2H2O, crystallizes as hydrogen-bonded sheets. The 2-hydroxy group on the benzylidene group forms an intramolecular hydrogen bond to the N atom of the C=N double bond.

New Reflections on Electron's Energy and Wavefunction in the Hydrogen Atom

open access: yes, 2009
Schrodinger's equation predicts something very peculiar about the electron in the Hydrogen atom: its total energy must be equal to zero. Unfortunately, an analysis of a zero-energy wavefunction for the electron in the Hydrogen atom has not been attempted

1-Methylamino-3-(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)propan-2-ol

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2011
The methylaminopropyl chain in the title compound, C13H21NO, adopts an extended zigzag conformation and the N atom shows a trigonal coordination. The N atom acts as hydrogen-bond acceptor to the hydroxy group of an adjacent molecule, generating a helical

CALPHAD‐Guided Prediction and Interpretation of Phase Formation in Ta–Mo–Cr–Ti–Al Refractory High‐Entropy Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study designs Ta–Mo–Cr–Ti–Al refractory high‐entropy alloys with a disordered body‐centered‐cubic A2 crystal structure aiming for improved ductility, lower density, and oxidation resistance. Four alloy compositions are identified by thermodynamic calculations.

(E)-2-Amino-4-(3,3-dimethyl-2-oxobutylidene)-1-[2-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethyl]-6-methyl-1,4-dihydropyridine-3-carbonitrile

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2012
In the title compound, C17H25N3O3, there are intramolecular hydrogen bonds between an amine H atom and the epoxy O atom, and between a dihydropyridine ring H atom and the ketone O atom.

Ground State of the Hydrogen Atom via Dirac Equation in a Minimal Length Scenario

open access: yes, 2013
In this work we calculate the correction to the ground state energy of the hydrogen atom due to contributions arising from the presence of a minimal length.

ON THE CONTINUOUS SPECTRUM OF THE HYDROGEN ATOM [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 1929
The purpose of the present paper is to obtain expressions for the intensities in the continuous spectrum of atomic hydrogen suitable for numerical calculations. This purpose is accomplished by means of a new integral representation for the wave function in this special case.
