Effects of hydrogen blending ratios and CO2 on hydrogen embrittlement of X65 steel in high-pressure offshore hydrogen-blended natural gas pipelines

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology
In this study, the effects of hydrogen blending ratios and high CO2 content on hydrogen embrittlement (HE) of offshore natural gas X65 pipeline steel were investigated. In high-pressure hydrogen gas, the impact of hydrogen content on yield strength and tensile strength was minimal.

Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.
