Hydrogen and Dihydrogen Bonds in the Reactions of Metal Hydrides.

Chemical Reviews, 2016
The dihydrogen bond-an interaction between a transition-metal or main-group hydride (M-H) and a protic hydrogen moiety (H-X)-is arguably the most intriguing type of hydrogen bond. It was discovered in the mid-1990s and has been intensively explored since

Bonding of Hydrogen in Hydrogen Montmorillonite

Nature, 1964
RESEARCH concerning bonding conditions for tritium and deuterium in micaceous minerals, as formerly mentioned by us1, indicated the presence of apical OH in di-octahedral hydro micas. Burns and White2 conclude from infra-red examination after hydrogen saturation and heating of LiNO3-treated muscovite that hydronium ions H3O+ replace interlayer cations,

Hydrogen‐Bond Lengths in Polypeptide Helices: No Evidence for Short Hydrogen Bonds

Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 2004
The $3_1_0$ helix and \alpha helix are closely related secondary structures observed in polypeptides. The $3_1_0$ helix is characterized by successive $4\rightarrow1$ $(C_1_0)$ hydrogen bonds ($C_1_0$= 10 atom hydrogen-bonding ring) of the type $C=O_i\cdot\cdot\cdot$ $HN_{i+3},$ while the $\alpha$ helix displays a hydrogen bond of the type $ C= O_i ...

Hydrogen bonding: the role of hydrogen delocalization in the AHB bond

The Journal of Physical Chemistry, 1993
The behavior of the A-H...B multiple minimum hydrogen bond can be understood in terms of an analysis similar to the molecular orbital method in molecular electronic quantum theory. Delocalization of hydrogen about two or more wells is described in terms of a linear combination of Gaussian orbitals, each referred to a well minimum.
