An incident of hydrogen cyanide poisoning
The American Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2000Seven cases of hydrogen cyanide gas poisoning which occurred in an industrial building in Hong Kong are presented here. Two of them were more severely injured and required specific antidotal treatment. The other five were mild and responded to supportive treatment alone. All except one patient recovered completely.

Abstract The rate of cyanide oligomerization is independent of the presence of added nucleophiles such as azide, monomethylamine or triethylamine and is dependent only on the pH of the reaction mixture. The products formed, with the exception of urea, are also independent of the nucleophiles used to initiate reaction.

Infrared Spectra of Hydrogen Cyanide and Deuterium Cyanide
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1956The infrared spectra of HCN and DCN have been investigated in the region 1900 to 8000 cm-1. Twenty-two bands of HCN and eighteen bands of DCN were measured. The newly measured bands together with previously known bands enable a complete determination of the vibrational anharmonic constants for the two molecules.

Annals of Applied Biology, 1948Experiments were carried out in an artificial rabbit burrow to test the persistence of concentrations of hydrogen cyanide. The gas was evolved from two kinds of trade powders (Cymag and Cyanogas), placed in a heap just inside the mouth of the burrow, which was then sealed in with earth.
