Hydrogen Desorption from Mg Hydride: An Ab Initio Study
Hydrogen desorption from hydride matrix is still an open field of research. By means of accurate first-principle molecular dynamics (MD) simulations an Mg–MgH2 interface is selected, studied and characterized.

Combined Kelvin probe force microscopy and secondary ion mass spectrometry for hydrogen detection in corroded 2024 aluminium alloy [PDF]
The capability of Kelvin probe force microscopy (KFM) to detect and locate hydrogen in corroded 2024 aluminium alloy was demonstrated. Hydrogen was introduced inside the 2024 alloy following a cyclic corrosion test consisting of cycles of immersion in 1 ...

We have imaged hydrogen on Si~001! at low coverages in a variable-temperature STM from 300 K up to 700 K. Individual hydrogen atoms were imaged which became mobile at around 570 K. The observed rate of hopping along the dimer rows was consistent with an activation energy of 1.68 6 0.15 eV.

Research on Hydrogen/Deuterium Permeation Behavior and Influencing Factors of X52MS Pipeline Steel
The hydrogen/deuterium permeation behavior of X52MS pipeline steel with three thicknesses was investigated using the gas/liquid phase permeation method by changing the current density and regulating the surface roughness.

Hydrogen diffusion through polymer membranes [PDF]
This experimental study determines H2 transfer properties of High Density PolyEthylene (HDPE) or epoxy membranes. Two different techniques are compared. The pressure gradient technique is analyzed for permeability or diffusion. Results show that the main
