Expert systems for superalloy studies [PDF]
There are many areas in science and engineering which require knowledge of an extremely complex foundation of experimental results in order to design methodologies for developing new materials or products. Superalloys are an area which fit well into this

Ionizing radiation impact on the mechanical properties of a wood-plastic composite: a review [PDF]
This paper reviews the effect of radiation on the mechanical properties of WPC. WPC can be defined as mixture of wood in a polymer matrix. Composite that used in this research mainly consists of 40% polyethylene (PE), 50 % wood fiber and the rest is ...

Hydrogen gas embrittlement and the disc pressure test [PDF]
A disc pressure test has been used to study the influenced of a hydrogen gas environment on the mechanical properties of three high strength superalloys, Inconel 718, L-605 and A-286, in static and dynamic conditions.

Interatomic Fe-H potential for irradiation and embrittlement simulations
The behavior of hydrogen in iron and iron alloys is of interest in many fields of physics and materials science. To enable large-scale molecular dynamics simulations of systems with Fe-H interactions, we develop, based on density-functional theory ...

Hydrogen Embrittlement of Steel
