Self‐Soldering, Stretchable and Self‐Healing Liquid Metal Elastomer Interconnections for Soft Electronics Platforms

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A self‐healing and electrically conductive liquid metal elastomer enables robust self‐soldering of surface mount devices for soft electronics. Photothermally activated conductive pathways, strong pressure‐sensitive adhesion, and stable package‐integrated contacts provide high conductivity and extreme stretchability.

Hydrogen Permeation Inhibition by Thin Layer Zn–Ni Alloy Electrodeposition

open access: yes, 1998
The inhibition of hydrogen permeation by zinc-nickel electrodeposited alloy was investigated using the Devanathan–Stachurski permeation technique. The hydrogen evolution and hydrogen permeation rates for the zinc–nickel alloy electrodeposits on iron are ...

An experimental study of hydrogen sorption and permeation in high-performance polyamides [PDF]

open access: yes
Semicrystalline polyamides (PAs) are optimal materials to develop high-pressure resistant liners for type IV hydrogen storage tanks due to a favorable combination of barrier performance, mechanical resistance, and lightness. However, experimental data on

An Imaging‐Guided, Patient‐Specific Guiding Aid (RWNGuide) for Safe and Reproducible Inner Ear Drug Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A patient‐specific, imaging‐guided aid enables precise and reproducible drug delivery to the inner ear. By guiding therapeutic agents directly to the round window niche, this approach reduces variability in drug localization, improves delivery safety, and addresses a critical bottleneck in inner ear therapy, offering a scalable strategy for precision ...

Hydrogen permeation resistant layers for liquid metal reactors [PDF]

open access: yes, 1980
Reviewing the literature in the tritium diffusion field one can readily see a wide divergence in results for both the response of permeation rate to pressure, and the effect of oxide layers on total permeation rates.

Hydrogen Permeation in Carbon Steels

open access: yes
The atomic hydrogen generally comes from corrosion reactions that take place between the steel surface and the sour media. These reactions generate atomic hydrogen that due to its small size can be adsorbed and diffuse through interstitial sites of the crystalline lattice of steel, where it accumulates in nonmetallic discontinuities such as inclusions,
