Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Oxidation of Polyvinylalcohol by Hydrogen Peroxide
ポリビニルアルコール (PVA) の過酸化水素 (H2O2) による酸化機構を調ベ, 以下のことを知った。無触媒では60℃ で明瞭に切断が起るが30℃ ではほとんど起らない。しかしアルカリ触媒の共存下では30℃ でも顕著に切断が起る. また触媒の有無にかかわらず1個の主鎖の結合の切断には10~20個のH2O2分子が必要である。酸化分解したPVAの分子はカルボキシル基とカルボニル基を大体1個ずつ持っており, 分解反応以外の反応はほとんど起っていないと思われる。酸化分解に際しては1, 2-グリコール結合はかなり選択的に切断される。
