HIx system thermodynamic model for hydrogen production by the sulfur-iodine cycle [PDF]
The HIx ternary system (H2O – HI – I2) is the latent source of hydrogen for the Sulfur – Iodine thermo-chemical cycle. After analysis of the literature data and models, a homogeneous approach with the Peng-Robinson equation of state used for both the ...

A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Separation of Hydrogen Isotopes by Metal-Organic Framework Quantum Sieving Effect
Due to the similar physical and chemical properties of hydrogen isotopes, the separation of high-purity hydrogen isotopes has become one of the major problems in modern separation technology. The realization of high-purity hydrogen isotope separation can

Infrared spectrum and stability of a π-type hydrogen-bonded complex between the OH and C2H2 reactants [PDF]
A hydrogen-bonded complex between the hydroxyl radical and acetylene has been stabilized in the reactant channel well leading to the addition reaction and characterized by infrared action spectroscopy in the OH overtone region. Analysis of the rotational

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Inorganic Membranes for Hydrogen Separation
Hydrogen, one of the most promising energy carriers for the future, is currently produced mainly by natural gas reforming or coal gasification, where mixtures containing H2, CO2 and contaminants like CO, H2S and CH4 are obtained. Among other methods, membrane technology has received special attention due to its potential efficiency for hydrogen ...

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Modification of The Transition Rate in The Hydrogen Atom placed in Finite Space
When a hydrogen atom trapped in finite space formed by two parallel perfectly conducting plates, the transition rates can be modified. Life-time of the hydrogen $2P_{1/2}$-state is estimated to be shorter as much as $56.3ps $ with a separation distance ...
