Hydrogen storage performance of HPSB hydrogen storage materials

Chemical Physics Letters, 2019
Abstract This work studied a hydrogen storage material which could absorbed hydrogen under room temperature and 3 MPa hydrogen pressure. This material was obtained by hydrolysis of NaBH4 (HPSB) and the hydrogen absorption and desorption performance was tested by PCT apparatus.

Hydrogen storage: beyond conventional methods

Chemical Communications, 2013
The efficient storage of hydrogen is one of three major hurdles towards a potential hydrogen economy. This report begins with conventional storage methods for hydrogen and broadly covers new technology, ranging from physical media involving solid adsorbents, to chemical materials including metal hydrides, ammonia borane and liquid precursors such as ...

Hydrogen Storage in Carbon Nanotubes

Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2003
The article gives a comprehensive overview of hydrogen storage in carbon nanostructures, including experimental results and theoretical calculations. Soon after the discovery of carbon nanotubes in 1991, different research groups succeeded in filling carbon nanotubes with some elements, and, therefore, the question arose of filling carbon nanotubes ...

Hydrogen storage

2005
The invention relates to the storage of hydrogen. The invention relates especially to storing hydrogen in a clathrate hydrate. The clathrate hydrate according to the present invention originates from a composition, which comprises water and hydrogen, as well as a promotor compound. The promotor compound provides a large reduction of the pressure needed

Hydrogen energy storage: Preliminary analysis

International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, 1993
Abstract A preliminary analysis of energy storage during off-peak periods by means of electrolytic hydrogen has been carried out. Electrolytic hydrogen and oxygen are produced during off-peak hours at a low cost and are then used to generate peak power. Hydrogen and oxygen are stored in gaseous or liquid phase.

Large storage-box hydrogen maser

IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1968
An atomic hydrogen maser has been operated that confines atoms in a volume whose linear dimensions are approximately ten times larger than those of previous masers of this type. The uncertainties associated with the wall frequency shift, presently the principal limiting factor in the absolute accuracy of frequency measurements with the hydrogen maser ...
