Tuneable graphite intercalates for hydrogen storage [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The development of hydrogen as an energy transfer mechanism is of great importance to alleviate environmental damage and economic destabilisation caused by over-reliance on oil, as long as the hydrogen can be generated renewably.

Synergistic Cr2O3 nanoparticle/Cu nanosheet heterojunction for highly efficient electrosynthesis of urea under ultralow applied potentials

open access: yesNano Research
Although Cu possesses many unique advantages for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR), it is not suitable for electrosynthesis of urea from CO2 and NO3− because of high energy barriers for the formation of *COOH and *CO intermediates and C–N ...

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Thermodynamic study of high capacity hydrogen storage materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The studies of economic, high-efficient and safe hydrogen sources play an important role in the development of fuel cell in vehicles calls. However, the state-of-the-art of hydrogen storage materials (HSMs) hardly meets the requirements designed by the U.

Modification strategies of magnesium-based materials originating from other materials for hydrogen storage: A review

open access: yesNext Materials
Hydrogen is widely used as an energy carrier because of its wide source and environmental friendliness. However, the problem of low storage and transportation density still needs to be solved.

Boronation of Biomass-Derived Materials for Hydrogen Storage

open access: yesCompounds, 2023
In spite of the widespread range of hydrogen applications as one of the greenest energy vectors, its transportation and storage still remain among the main concerns to be solved in order to definitively kickstart a rapid takeoff of a sustainable H2 ...

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...
