Influence of stator and rotor core material definition method on no‐load electromagnetic field calculation results for tubular hydrogenerator

The findings reveal that in the no‐load electromagnetic field calculation of tubular hydrogenerator, while a linear simplified definition method for the stator core material maintains high accuracy and efficiency, but the same approach for the rotor core material is unacceptable.
