Chlorohydrins in protein hydrolysates

Zeitschrift für Lebensmittel-Untersuchung und -Forschung, 1978
Four samples of neutral fractions of protein hydrolysates were separated by gas chromatography and the individual components were identified from the mass spectra obtained. Some of the identified compounds were not previously reported as volatile components of foodstuffs. Three of these compounds namely 3-chloropropan-1-ol, 2,3-dichloropropan-1-ol, and

Hydrolyse des Scopolamins

Berichte der deutschen chemischen Gesellschaft (A and B Series), 1923

Feather Meal (Hydrolysed)

2000
Feathers are the very complex derivatives of the integuments to be found in any vertebrate. They can be divided into three categories: Contour feathers, inclusively the remiges of the wings and the rectrices of the tail Down feathers ...

Exaggerated Intestinal Histamine Release by Casein and Casein Hydrolysate but Not Whey Hydrolysate

Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology, 1991
Loops of rabbit distal small intestine received luminal acetic acid (pH 4.0) alone or in combination with bovine casein, casein hydrolysate, or whey hydrolysate. Blood-to-lumen movement of 51Cr-labeled ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) (an index of epithelial permeability) and loop fluid histamine levels were quantified after 45 min.

Analysis of Hydroxyproline in Collagen Hydrolysates

2011
Hydroxyproline (Hyp) is an imino acid posttranslationally formed by sequence-specific hydroxylases in the repeating collagen Gly-Xaa-Yaa triad present in all collagen types of all species. In both Xaa- and Yaa-positions, Pro is the most common residue, often oxidized to 4-Hyp in the Yaa- and rarely to 3-Hyp in the Xaa-positions.

PROTEIN HYDROLYSATES

2002
The present invention describes protein hydrolysates: obtainable by the hydrolysis of a protein containing substrate; comprising free amino acids and peptides; and wherein the molar fraction of at least one free amino acid, present in the protein hydrolysate is at least a factor 2.5, preferably at least a factor 3, more preferably at least a factor 3.5

Nucleotide Exchange on RAS Proteins Using Hydrolysable and Non-hydrolysable Nucleotides

Biochemical and biophysical assays using recombinant RAS require the protein to be in either the active or inactive state. Here we describe methods to exchange the nucleotide present in the purified RAS protein with either GDPβS, GppNHp, or GTP depending on the assay requirement.
