Single‐Step Electrochemical Battery Recycling
This work demonstrates the use of single‐step recovery, an electrochemical process combining electrodeposition and electro‐dissolution, to recover lithiated transition metal oxides (LTMOs). The batteries produced through this recycling method perform similarly to batteries made from pristine materials.

Advances in Hydrometallurgy [PDF]
The development of new technologies and the increasing demand for mineral resources from emerging countries are responsible for significant tensions in the pricing of non-ferrous metals. Some metals have become strategic and critical because they are used in many technological applications such as flat panel TVs (indium), solar panel cells (indium ...

Grave to Cradle: A Direct Recycling Approach for Over‐Discharged LiFePO4 Electric Vehicle Cells
The change in the LiFePO4 (LFP) material from grave to cradle. The material is delaminated with water, before undergoing ball milling and a relithiation‐carbothermal treatment. The final step shows the fully healed LFP remanufactured as a new cathode. The purple represents LiFePO4, the light purple FePO4, black, and dark grey—the graphite and carbons ...

Lanthanum biosorption by different Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains [PDF]
Biosorption can be a promising technology in rare earth metal separation and recovery due to the low costs of waste biomasses (used as biosorbents) and the high selectivity exploiting specific interaction between metals and biological active sites.
