Hydrometallurgy of the delta sulfide ores, second stage report [PDF]
This report contains results of the Fluidized-Bed Leaching (FBL) initially adapted to improve Leaching-Flotation processing of Delta ores in sulfate solution. The research carried out in the continuous laboratory installation show, however, that the new,

Enhancing the Resilience of Platinum Group Metal Supply Chains: Mine to (Re)use
ABSTRACT Platinum group metals (PGMs) are critical elements that play a vital role in sustainable energy transition technologies such as catalysts, hydrogen production and use, and electronics. Securing a resilient PGM supply chain would support the current industrial, societal, and economic infrastructure.

Coagulant recovery from water treatment residuals: a review of applicable technologies [PDF]
Conventional water treatment consumes large quantities of coagulant and produces even greater volumes of sludge. Coagulant recovery (CR) presents an opportunity to reduce both the sludge quantities and the costs they incur, by regenerating and purifying ...

Impact of Ferric and Ferrous Iron on the Crystallization of Rare Earth Sulphate Hydrates
The study investigates recovery of rare earth elements from magnet waste by antisolvent crystallization by addition of ethanol. The impact of ferric and ferrous iron on crystal purity and morphology are examined. Fe(III) hinders crystal growth and incorporates into Nd2(SO4)3·8H2O but not the mixed Nd/Dy phase.

Revitamize LFP! Ascorbic Acid‐Assisted Direct Regeneration of Spent LiFePO4 for Li‐Ion Batteries
This study presents a one‐step, environmentally friendly lithiation process for regenerating spent LFP cathodes under ambient conditions using low‐cost reagents, including ascorbic acid. A simplified scheme of the green lithiation process in aqueous solution is illustrated, showing the recycling loop from cathode recovery to regeneration and the ...
