Pinning of a drop by a junction on an incline
The shape of a drop pinned in a local equilibrium on an incline is a long-standing problem. The substrate can be homogeneous or heterogeneous and we herewith consider a drop pinned on an incline at the junction between a hydrophilic half-plane (the top ...

By tuning the pore size of mesoporous N‐doped carbon (MPNC) nanospheres as support material for molybdenum sulfide, the electrochemical activity of the composite material for the hydrogen evolution reaction can be optimized. An ideal MPNC pore size of 60 nm allows a high number of molybdenum sulfide active sites while maintaining efficient proton and ...

Percolation transition of hydration water at hydrophilic surfaces
An analysis of water clustering is used to study the quasi-2D percolation transition of water adsorbed at planar hydrophilic surfaces. Above the critical temperature of the layering transition (quasi-2D liquid-vapor phase transition of adsorbed molecules)

Contact Lens with Moiré Patterns for High‐Precision Eye Tracking
This work presents a passive contact lens for high‐precision eye tracking, integrating a microscopic moiré grating label. The parallax‐induced shift of macroscopic moiré patterns enables angle measurement with 0.28° precision using a standard camera under ambient light.
