This review maps how MOFs can manage hazardous gases by combining adsorption, neutralization, and reutilization, enabling sustainable air‐pollution control. Covering chemical warfare agent simulants, SO2, NOx, NH3, H2S, and volatile organic compounds, it highlights structure‐guided strategies that boost selectivity, water tolerance, and cycling ...

Platinum-group element mineralisation in the Unst ophiolite, Shetland [PDF]
The ophiolitic basic and ultrabasic rocks of the island of Unst, Shetland comprise a sequence of harzburgites, dunites, clinopyroxene-rich cumulates, and gabbro, within tectonic blocks that have been thrust over a migmatite complex during the Laxer ...

Plastically flexible single crystals of the bimetallic phosphonate framework [Cu(2,2′‐bpy)VO(O3PC6H5)2] combine mechanical adaptability with robust pseudocapacitive charge storage. The material delivers about 140 Fg−1 at pH 4 and pH 10 and remains stable across pH 2‐12, enabling energy storage under comparatively mild electrolyte conditions.

Metamorphism of hydrothermally altered rocks
In some metamorphosed volcanic belts, evidence of premetamorphic hydrothermal activity is preserved in the form of distinct metamorphic mineral assemblages. By considering the effect of metamorphism on rocks of various compositions, it is possible to deduce premetamorphic mineral assemblages, some of which could be products of hydrothermal alteration ...

xx xx. ABSTRACT Osseointegration of orthopedic and dental implants is influenced by local and systemic factors, including their physicochemical surface properties and the patient's overall health status. Titanium and its alloys have been a longstanding standard for bone implants due to their innate biocompatibility and mechanical properties.
