Hydrothermal alteration of chabazite.
The alteration of zeolites in the system chabazite-(SiO2) -H2O was experimentally studied using conventional hydrothermal techniques. Chabazite was transformed into the following mineral phases with increased temperature in accordance with the quantity of free silica in the reaction system.(A) Ca-harmotome+gonnasdite→wairakite→anorthite. (B) heulandite→

Hydrothermal alteration in the Witwatersrand goldfields
Abstract Alteration is recorded throughout much of the 3 km thick Upper Witwatersrand succession in South Africa, and extends for 300 km around the basin and 50 km into the basin. The evidence for this alteration comes from petrography, mineralogy, geochemistry, rock fabrics and stratigraphy.

GeAl2‐2xFe2xO3(OH)4 Nanotubes: New Electrocatalyst for Oxygen Evolution Reaction
Fe‐doped imogolite nanotubes are synthesized via a one‐step hydrothermal method with varying Fe substitution ratios x. Structural and spectroscopic analyses confirm homogeneous Fe incorporation while preserving tubular shape. Optimal doping at x = 0.05 enhances optical absorption, narrows band gap, reduces charge transfer resistance, and significantly ...

Impact-generated hydrothermal circulation and metasomatism of the rochechouart astrobleme: mineralogy and major and trace element distribution [PDF]
The energy released during a hypervelocity impact on Earth can generate high temperatures in the target rock. There are currently 170 known impact structures worldwide, of which over one-third contain fossil hydrothermal systems [1].

Reconfigurable Magnetic Soft Microrobot for Acoustically Triggered Targeted Bacterial Sterilization
Reconfigurable magnetic soft microrobots integrate in situ‐grown piezoelectric zinc oxide nanorods that produce reactive oxygen species upon acoustic excitation. Combining magnetically guided transport with thermally induced planar reconfiguration, the microrobots achieve targeted delivery and enhanced bacterial sterilization through efficient on ...

Sulfosalicylic acid (SSA) is introduced as a bifunctional additive for Aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. SSA reconstructs the solvation structure of Zn2+ through the synergistic effects of its multiple functional groups, suppressing side reactions while selectively promoting Zn (002) deposition to prevent dendrite formation.
