Abstract Fluid infiltration along seismically‐active faults and fluid‐rock interaction influence the mechanical behavior of faults. Nevertheless, how fluid infiltration and fluid‐rock interactions evolve at seismogenic depths with fault slip accumulation remain poorly constrained in the geological record.
