Fluid Flow Processes at Mid-Ocean Ridge Hydrothermal Systems
The subseafloor structure and temporal variability of mid-ocean ridge hydrothermal systems are examined from a largely theoretical standpoint. The nature of tidal signals is considered in detail and there is a discussion of the mechanisms by which the

Femtosecond‐Laser Mould Texturing Enables Tunable Biointerfaces in COC Microfluidics
Femtosecond‐laser texturing of injection‐mould inserts enables scalable engineering of biointerfaces in cyclic olefin copolymer microfluidics. Replicated micro‐ and nano‐topographies modulate surface roughness and wettability, leading to texture‐dependent protein adsorption and cell adhesion without chemical post‐processing.

Climate Change Threatens Micronutrient Density of European Winter Wheat
Micronutrients are vital for human health. Wheat is a major staple crop and a significant source of minerals and B‐vitamins. The impact of climate change on their content remains largely unknown. We evaluated micronutrient levels in European winter wheat grown under historical and projected climate conditions. Our findings indicate that future climates

Problems with imaging cellular hydrothermal convection in oceanic crust
Heat‐flow variations are commonly used to infer the existence of hydrothermal convection in young oceanic crust and, in special cases, the geometry and vigor of convection. In a small area on the eastern flank of the Juan de Fuca Ridge where the sea floor and seismic basement relief are only about 10 m, a coherent pattern of heat‐flow variation having ...
