Facile Synthesis of BiCuOS by Hydrothermal Methods

Inorganic Chemistry, 2007
BiCuOS, which is isostructural to the layered rare-earth oxysulfides LnCuOS (Ln = La-Eu), was synthesized by a single-step hydrothermal reaction at low temperature (250 degrees C) and pressure (

A bundle method for hydrothermal scheduling

IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 1999
Lagrangian relaxation has been widely used in hydrothermal scheduling. Complicating constraints are relaxed by multipliers which are usually updated by a subgradient method (SGM). The SGM suffers from slow convergence caused by the nondifferentiable characteristics of dual functions.

Hydrothermal Analysis by Finite Element Method

Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1972
The finite element method is used to predict the horizontal temperature distribution resulting from the discharge of a heated effluent into a body of water. The methods of heat transfer which are considered include the heat exchange at the air-water interface, advection and diffusion.

OBTAINING ZINC OXIDE NANORODS BY HYDROTHERMAL METHOD

Q A Iasaýı atyndaǵy Halyqaralyq qazaq-túrіk ýnıversıtetіnіń habarlary (fızıka matematıka ınformatıka serııasy), 2022
Thin films of zinc oxide (ZnO) are very promising for thin-film transistors, solar panels, sensors and optoelectronic devices. The article presents the structural properties and morphology of zinc oxide (ZnO) obtained by hydrothermal synthesis. ZnO nanofilms (as a seed layer) were deposited by the sol-gel method on the glass surface of STO. The results

Ultrasonic Transducer for the Hydrothermal Method

Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 2010
Direct ultrasound irradiation is advantageous to increase the efficiency of the hydrothermal method which can be used for the production of piezoelectric thin films and lead free piezoelectric ceramics. To apply ultrasound directly to the process transducer prototypes were developed regarding the boundary conditions of the hydrothermal method.

TDEM Method for Hydrothermal Water Prospection

70th EAGE Conference and Exhibition incorporating SPE EUROPEC 2008, 2008
TDEM prospection allowed to reconstruct tectonic setting of a thermal basin, in Viterbo (Central Italy). A productive well was located at the intersection of two faults evidenced by geophysical data, reaching a depth of 127 m. and providing thermal water (58°C) with high productivity (spontaneous discharge 10 L/Sec).

Silver Telluride Nanotubes Prepared by the Hydrothermal Method

Inorganic Chemistry, 2007
Silver telluride nanotubes have been prepared by the hydrothermal process without a template or a surfactant. The as-prepared sample was characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectra, and Raman spectra. The structural phase transition of the sample was observed.

A hydrothermal hot-pressing method: Apparatus and application

Journal of Materials Science Letters, 1986
Loose particles occurring in sediment are transformed into sedimentary rock by a process termed lithification, which is a chemical process that reduces the original porosity by compaction and cementation [1]. A hydrothermal hot-pressing method is intended for artificial lithification.

Defects in ZnO Nanorods Prepared by a Hydrothermal Method

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2006
ZnO nanorod arrays were fabricated using a hydrothermal method. The nanorods were studied by scanning electron microscopy, photoluminescence (PL), time-resolved PL, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and positron annihilation spectroscopy before and after annealing in different environments and at different temperatures.
