The electrochemical properties of the intercalation compounds cobalt hydroxide–aluminium hydroxide and nickel hydroxide–aluminium hydroxide

J. Chem. Soc., Chem. Commun., 1985
The intercalation of Al(OH)2NO3 into the layer structure of M(OH)2(M = Co or Ni) forms M4Al(OH)10NO3, in which Co on charging attains an oxidation state of +3.7 and Ni +3.9; the changes and improvements in the electorchemical properties of M4Al(OH)10NO3 Compared with M(OH)2 electrodes are described.

Determination of metal-hydroxide bond energies in doubly charged scandium hydroxide, iron hydroxide, and cobalt hydroxide ions

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1993
Bond dissociation energies of the metal hydroxide dications of Sc, Fe, and Co have been obtained through charge stripping of ions produced by fast atom bombardment. The reactions for fragmentation of the doubly charged transition metal complexes FeOH 2+ and CoOH 2+ to produce M + +OH + are exothermic by 0.6±0.5 and 2.2±0.5 eV, respectively. For ScOH

Effect of Sodium Hydroxide, Calcium Hydroxide, and Potassium Hydroxide on Debranning of Corn

Cereal Chemistry, 1997
ABSTRACTThe effect of sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, and potassium hydroxide, and processing conditions (alkali concentration and soaking time) on corn debranning was studied at a temperature of 55°C. Fiber yield, soluble dry matter loss, and total dry matter removed were determined for different alkalies and processing conditions.

ChemInform Abstract: PROTON NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE AND LINE SHAPE ANALYSIS IN THE ALKALI METAL HYDROXIDES: LITHIUM HYDROXIDE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE AND RUBIDIUM HYDROXIDE

Chemischer Informationsdienst, 1985

The Electrochemical Behaviour of Manganese(II)‐Hydroxide and Manganese(II)‐Hydroxide/Aluminum Hydroxide

Berichte der Bunsengesellschaft für physikalische Chemie, 1985
AbstractThrough computer control, precipitated manganese(II)‐hydroxide and manganese(II)‐hydroxide/aluminum hydroxide are investigated as positive electrodes for secondary cells in aqueous potassium hydroxide solution with regard to charge capacity and cycling behaviour.
