Synthesis and characterisation of alkaline earth-iron(III) double hydroxides
Double hydroxides containing alkaline earth and iron(III) ions were synthesised by the co-precipitation method. The solid materials obtained were characterised by a range of instrumental methods (powder X-ray diffractometry, thermogravimetry ...

Removal of boron species by layered double hydroxides : a review
Boron, which is an essential element for plants, is toxic to humans and animals at high concentrations.\ud Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) and thermally activated LDHs have shown good uptake of a range of boron species in laboratory scale experiments ...

Pickering‐Engineered Microparticles for Magnetically Guided Motion and Light‐Triggered Catalysis
Magnetically responsive wax microparticles stabilized by hematite cubes through the Pickering emulsification strategy are developed, showing controlled size, motion, and light‐activated catalytic activity. Annealing under a magnetic field enhances their mobility and steering.

Silylation of layered double hydroxides via an induced hydrolysis method
A series of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) based composites were synthesized by using induced hydrolysis silylation method (IHS), surfactant precursor method, in-situ coprecipitation method, and direct silylation method. Their structures, morphologies,

Tandem organic solar cells with optimized ternary acceptor engineering achieved a power conversion efficiency of 15.53% and enabled a high‐voltage mini‐module (Voc 6.11 V). Integration into a bias‐free PV‐EC system further demonstrated efficient solar‐to‐ammonia (STA) conversion (97% Faradaic Efficiency, 4± 2% STA efficiency), highlighting scalable ...

Toward Fast Proton Shuttling in Acidic Oxygen Evolution Reaction
This review establishes proton transfer dynamics as a descriptor governing acidic OER activity, moving beyond the kinetic constraints derived from the proton coupled electron transfer. We discuss how deprotonation governs classical mechanisms, including adsorbate evolution mechanism (AEM), lattice oxygen mechanism (LOM) and oxide path mechanism (OPM ...
