Cutaneous Melioidosis Cluster Caused by Contaminated Wound Irrigation Fluid
Melioidosis usually occurs after environmental exposure to Burkholderia pseudomallei in the tropics. A cluster of 5 cutaneous melioidosis cases occurred in suburban southwest Australia after an earlier case in January 2012.
