The Modern State and the Society of Hyper-Order to 1939

2020
Abstract For the past 200 years the defining feature of most domestic contests between Western governments and armed opponents has tended to be their lopsided asymmetry. Since the later nineteenth century a recurrent phenomenon of Western societies have been hopeless micro-insurrections mounted against stable societies: the armed ...

The Modern State and the Society of Hyper-Order from 1939

2020
Abstract This chapter serves as a companion to its predecessor. It surveys the temporary dislocation of state power across much of Europe during the Second World War: before turning to its reinforcement and enhancement in the decades that followed.

Estimates for The Hyper-Order of Solutions of Certain Linear Differential Equations

Acta Mathematica Scientia, 2008
Abstract In this article, the authors study the growth of certain second order linear differential equation f ″ + A ( z ) f ′ + B ( z ) f = 0 and give precise estimates for the hyper-order of solutions of infinite order. Under similar conditions, higher order differential equations will be considered.

THE HYPER ORDER OF SOLUTIONS OF SECOND ORDER DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS AND SUBNORMAL SOLUTIONS OF PERIODIC EQUATIONS

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Mathematics, 2010
In this paper, we obtain a precise estimation of the hyper order of solutions for a class of second order linear differential equations, and investigate the condition of the existence of nontrivial subnormal solution for a class of second order periodic equations. These results generalize the results of Gundersen, Steinbart [5] and Wittich [10].

Fixed Points and Hyper Order of Differential Polynomials Generated by Solutions of Differential Equation

Complex Variables and Elliptic Equations, 2003
This article studies the problem on the fixed points and hyper-order of differential polynomials generated by solutions of two type of second order differential equations. Because of the control of differential equation, we can obtain some precise estimates of their hyper-order and fixed points.

Hyper-order of solutions to a class of nonlinear complex differential equations

Journal of Dynamical Systems & Geometric Theories
This study focuses on analyzing the hyper-order associated with meromorphic solutions of nonlinear complex differential equations represented by 𝒫[𝒈] – Q𝒈γ𝒫 = R, where 𝒫[𝒈] denotes a differential polynomial in 𝒈, γ𝒫 indicates for the degree of 𝒫[𝒈], and the coefficients of 𝒫[𝒈], along with Q = Q(z) and R = R(z), satisfy certain prescribed growth ...

Brück Conjecture with hyper-order less than one

2017
In this paper we affirm Brück conjecture provided $f$ is of hyper-order less than one by studying the infinite hyper-order of solutions of a complex differential equation.

On the zeros and hyper-order of meromorphic solutions of linear differential equations

1999
Other researchers studied the zeros of meromorphic solutions of second-order linear differential equations. Here, the authors investigate the exponent of convergence of the zeros and the hyper-order of meromorphic solutions to higher-order homogeneous linear differential equations with transcendental coefficients with a view to generalize known types ...
