A Schwarz–Pick Theorem for higher-order hyperbolic derivatives [PDF]
Let \(\rho(z_1,z_2)\) denote the hyperbolic distance between the points \(z_1\) and \(z_2\) in the unit disk \(\mathbb D\). Let \(f\) be holomorphic and \(|f(z)|\leq 1\) in \(\mathbb D\). The author introduces higher-order hyperbolic derivatives \(H^n f(z)\) through the hyperbolic divided differences and estimates the value \(\rho\big(|H^n f(u)|,|H^n f(

WKB analysis of generalized derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations without hyperbolicity [PDF]
We consider the semi-classical limit of nonlinear Schrödinger equations in the presence of both a polynomial nonlinearity and the derivative in space of a polynomial nonlinearity. By working in a class of analytic initial data, we do not have to assume any hyperbolic structure on the (limiting) phase/amplitude system.

ABSTRACT Objective The Gold Coast criteria permit diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) even without upper motor neuron (UMN) signs. However, whether ALS patients with UMN signs (ALSwUMN) and those without (ALSwoUMN) share similar characteristics and prognoses remains unclear.

The Gakhov barriers and extremals for the level lines
The regular Gakhov class G1 consists of all holomorphic and locally univalent functions f in the unit disk with only one root of the Gakhov equation, which is the maximum of the hyperbolic derivative (conformal radius) of the function f . For the classes

Real‐World Performance of CSF Kappa Free Light Chains in the 2024 McDonald Criteria
ABSTRACT Objective Kappa free light chains (KFLCs) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) have a similar performance to CSF‐restricted oligoclonal bands (OCB) for multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis. To help with implementation, we set out to resolve several remaining uncertainties: (1) performance in a real‐world cohort and the 2024 McDonald criteria; (2 ...

Novel solutions to the coupled KdV equations and the coupled system of variant Boussinesq equations
This article examines the coupled KdV equations and the coupled system of variant Boussinesq equations with beta time derivative and explores their travelling wave solutions. This work explains the evolution of waves with fractional parameter. The simple

ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

On the Solutions of a Class of Fractional Hyperbolic Integro-Differential Inclusions
We study a Darboux problem associated to a fractional hyperbolic integro-differential inclusion defined by Caputo-Katugampola fractional derivative and we prove several existence results for this problem.
