Periodic orbits in the hyperchaotic Chen system
In this work, we show that a zero--Hopf bifurcation take place in the Hyperchaotic Chen system as parameters vary. Using averaging theory, we prove the existence of two periodic orbits bifurcating from the zero--Hopf equilibria located at the origin of the Hyperchaotic Chen system.

Parameter modulation for secure communication via the synchronization of Chen hyperchaotic systems [PDF]
The Chen hyperchaotic systems are synchronized via linear feedback control and the parameter is identified by using the adaptive control techniques even though the parameter is unknown. It is proved by the Lyapunov stability theory that the response system is able to track the driving system well and the parameter is estimated exactly.

Randomness and sparse optimizations are applied to three floating‐point matrices obtained from discrete wavelet and sparse transforms of plain colour medical images. These matrices are then quantized into 8‐bit integer matrices and undergo deoxyribonucleic acid encoding, scrambling, XOR, and decoding to achieve base‐position scrambling and value ...

New method of colour image encryption using triple chaotic maps
Initially, the plain image is decomposed into the RGB format. An individual chaotic map is used in the permutation and diffusion of each map to break the correlations in the plain image. Lorenz, 2D‐Logistic, and Henon maps are used in different orders and with different orders of channels, producing a cipher image with the properties of randomness and ...
