Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell Hydrogel‐Mediated Fibroblast Reprogramming Restores Intestinal Function in Adhesive Small Bowel Obstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 3, 14 January 2026.
Conceptual diagram and schematic illustration of microenvironmental changes in individuals with ASBO before and after treatment. BMSC@Gel therapy transforms the ASBO microenvironment from an inflammatory, fibrotic state with aberrant matrix deposition and barrier dysfunction to a regenerative state with reduced inflammation and improved structural ...

The High‐Altitude Adaptation Characteristics of Microbiota‐Host Cross‐Talk in Yak Gastrointestinal Track

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
In this study, a single‐cell atlas of 117,019 yak gastrointestinal cells across 54 subtypes identified HNF4A and SREBF2 as key transcription factors targeting MYO6 gene. Cross‐species and multi‐omics analyses reveals epithelial cells as key regulators that, through interactions with microbes, particularly Bacillus, facilitate flexible energy supply and

GSH as an A‐A Type Allosteric Activator of PKM2: Modulating Cancer Cell Homeostasis and Ferroptosis Susceptibility

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 5, 27 January 2026.
Glutathione (GSH) defines oxidative balance, but can it directly tune central metabolism? The research reveals that GSH binds and potently activates pyruvate kniase M2 (PKM2), rewiring glycolysis and dictating ferroptosis sensitivity. Combining GSH depletion with PKM2 activation triggers mitochondrial damage and lipid peroxidation, profoundly ...

Coordinate‐ and Spacetime‐Independent Quantum Physics

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 1, January 2026.
This article studies in the framework of quantum field theory in curved spacetime, if there exists a single zero‐rank‐tensor solution of a Klein‐Gordon PDE, being valid at once for the depicted spacetimes. The answer is shown to be affirmative, even for a class of such solutions having the standard applications in particle physics. ABSTRACT The concept

Therapeutic Potential of Irpex lacteus Polysaccharides in Lupus Nephritis: Insights From Gut Microbiota and Metabolomics Analysis in MRL/Lpr Mice

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
Polysaccharides from Irpex lacteus alleviated kidney inflammatory response. PCP could reverse the phenotype of MRL/lpr mice, reduce autoantibody levels, alleviate inflammatory responses, and improve renal function. Improving the body's metabolism by gut microbes may be the possible mechanism of PCP in treating LN.
