Effects of SADS‐CoV accessory proteins NS3a, NS7a, and NS7b on viral pathogenicity: A multi‐omics investigation

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
This study has elucidated the role of three swine acute diarrhea syndrome coronavirus (SADS‐CoV) accessory proteins in influencing viral pathogenicity and preliminarily explored the host molecular targets and pathways affected by the NS3a, NS7a, and NS7b proteins of SADS‐CoV.

Recursive Estimation of Orientation Based on the Bingham Distribution [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Directional estimation is a common problem in many tracking applications. Traditional filters such as the Kalman filter perform poorly because they fail to take the periodic nature of the problem into account.

Compound and scale mixture of vector and spherical matrix variate elliptical distributions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
Several matrix variate hypergeometric type distributions are derived. The compound distributions of left-spherical matrix variate elliptical distributions and inverted hypergeometric type distributions with matrix arguments are then proposed.

Finding new relationships between hypergeometric functions by evaluating Feynman integrals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Several new relationships between hypergeometric functions are found by comparing results for Feynman integrals calculated using different methods. A new expression for the one-loop propagator-type integral with arbitrary masses and arbitrary powers of propagators is derived in terms of only one Appell hypergeometric function F_1.

A highly accurate numerical method for solving boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik equation

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
A highly accurate numerical method is given for the solution of boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik (BgT) equation with Caputo derivative of order 0<β<2$$ 0<\beta <2 $$ by using the collocation‐shooting method (C‐SM). The collocation solution is constructed in the space Sm+1(1)$$ {S}_{m+1}^{(1)} $$ as piecewise polynomials of degree at ...

Single‐cell spatial transcriptomic sequencing and machine learning models uncover molecular mechanisms and diagnostic biomarkers of Peyronie's disease formation in rats

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Peyronie's disease (PD) is a common male reproductive system disorder. The exact etiology of PD remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate molecular and cellular changes in PD using single‐cell spatial transcriptomics. Abstract Peyronie's disease (PD), commonly known as penile induration, is a prevalent male reproductive system disorder with ...

Expressing the largest eigenvalue of a singular beta F-matrix with heterogeneous hypergeometric functions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
In this paper, the exact distribution of the largest eigenvalue of a singular random matrix for multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) is discussed. The key to developing the distribution theory of eigenvalues of a singular random matrix is to use heterogeneous hypergeometric functions with two matrix arguments.

Impact of Acute Endurance Exercise on Alternative Splicing in Skeletal Muscle

open access: yesFASEB BioAdvances, EarlyView.
Current model on the effects of acute endurance exercise on the AS regulatory mechanism with key trans‐factors/RBPs (e.g., hnRNP‐A1, ‐A3, and TIA1). ABSTRACT Alternative splicing (AS) is a highly conserved posttranscriptional mechanism, generating mRNA variants to diversify the proteome.

Exact Simulation of Wishart Multidimensional Stochastic Volatility Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this article, we propose an exact simulation method of the Wishart multidimensional stochastic volatility (WMSV) model, which was recently introduced by Da Fonseca et al. \cite{DGT08}.

Some integrals of hypergeometric functions [PDF]

open access: yesActa Math. Hung., 152 (2017), 1, 58-71, 2017
We consider a certain definite integral involving the product of two classical hypergeometric functions having complicated arguments. We show in this paper the surprising fact that this integral does not depend on the parameters of the hypergeometric functions.
