Neurogenomic landscape associated with status‐dependent cooperative behaviour
Abstract The neurogenomic mechanisms mediating male–male reproductive cooperative behaviours remain unknown. We leveraged extensive transcriptomic and behavioural data on a neotropical bird species (Pipra filicauda) that performs cooperative courtship displays to understand these mechanisms.

Abstract Visual cues are of critical importance for the attraction of animal pollinators, however, little is known about the molecular mechanisms underpinning intraspecific floral colour variation. Here, we combined comparative spectral analysis, targeted metabolite profiling, multi‐tissue transcriptomics, differential gene expression, sequence ...

Genetic Architecture of Immune Cell DNA Methylation in the Rhesus Macaque
ABSTRACT Genetic variation that impacts gene regulation, rather than protein function, can have strong effects on trait variation both within and between species. Epigenetic mechanisms, such as DNA methylation, are often an important intermediate link between genotype and phenotype, yet genetic effects on DNA methylation remain understudied in natural ...

ABSTRACT Wildlife have become increasingly dependent on anthropogenic resources, altering interactions between individuals and subsequently disease transmission. Further, nutritional quantity and quality impact an individual's ability to mitigate damage caused by infectious disease.

Abstract Lexical proficiency in a second language (L2) has long been effectively assessed through the measurement of various lexical indices, or textual characteristics that act as observable indicators of such conceptual categories as lexical richness, diversity, sophistication, and fluency.
