A generalization of Clausen's identity

open access: yes, 2009
The paper aims to generalize Clausen's identity to the square of any Gauss hypergeometric function. Accordingly, solutions of the related 3rd order linear differential equation are found in terms of certain bivariate series that can reduce to 3F2 series ...

Multiplicate inverse forms of terminating hypergeometric series [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The multiplicate form of Gould--Hsu's inverse series relations enables to investigate the dual relations of the Chu-Vandermonde-Gau{\ss}'s, the Pfaff-Saalsch\"utz's summation theorems and the binomial convolution formula due to Hagen and Rothe.

Composite fields, generalized hypergeometric functions and the $U(1)_Y$ symmetry in the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We discuss the concept of composite fields in flat CFT as well as in the context of AdS/CFT. Furthermore we show how to represent Green functions using generalized hypergeometric functions and apply these techniques to four-point functions.

Jacobian elliptic Kummer surfaces and special function identities

open access: yes, 2016
We derive formulas for the construction of all inequivalent Jacobian elliptic fibrations on the Kummer surface of two non-isogeneous elliptic curves from extremal rational elliptic surfaces by rational base transformations and quadratic twists.

A new four parameter q-series identity and its partition implications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We prove a new four parameter q-hypergeometric series identity from which the three parameter key identity for the Goellnitz theorem due to Alladi, Andrews, and Gordon, follows as a special case by setting one of the parameters equal to 0.

Operators of Laplace transform type and a new class of hypergeometric coefficients [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
A differential identity on the hypergeometric function ${}_2F_1(a,b;c;z)$ unifying and extending certain spectral results on the scale of Gegenbauer and Jacobi polynomials and leading to a new class of hypergeometric related scalars $\mathsf{c}_j^m(a,b,c)

Theta Functions, Elliptic Hypergeometric Series, and Kawanaka's Macdonald Polynomial Conjecture

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2009
We give a new theta-function identity, a special case of which is utilised to prove Kawanaka's Macdonald polynomial conjecture. The theta-function identity further yields a transformation formula for multivariable elliptic hypergeometric series which ...

The Stokes Phenomenon and Some Applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Multisummation provides a transparent description of Stokes matrices which is reviewed here together with some applications. Examples of moduli spaces for Stokes matrices are computed and discussed.

Early metastasis is characterized by Gr1+ cell dysregulation and is inhibited by immunomodulatory nanoparticles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer metastasis is associated with myeloid cell dysregulation and the lung‐specific accumulation of tumor‐supportive Gr1+ cells. Gr1+ cells support metastasis, in part, through a CHI3L1‐mediated mechanism, which can be targeted and inhibited with cargo‐free, polymeric nanoparticles.

Mirror Maps, Modular Relations and Hypergeometric Series I [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Motivated by the recent work of Kachru-Vafa in string theory, we study in Part A of this paper, certain identities involving modular forms, hypergeometric series, and more generally series solutions to Fuchsian equations.
