CTSK plays a critical role in pulmonary fibrosis. Excessive CTSK accumulation interacts with SNX9 to enhance TGF‐β1‐induced SMAD3 activation and GLS1 expression in fibroblasts, driving glutamine metabolism for collagen biosynthesis and exacerbating pulmonary fibrosis.

Three Identities of the Catalan-Qi Numbers
In the paper, the authors find three new identities of the Catalan-Qi numbers and provide alternative proofs of two identities of the Catalan numbers. The three identities of the Catalan-Qi numbers generalize three identities of the Catalan numbers.

De Novo Reconstruction of 3D Human Facial Images from DNA Sequence
This study introduces Difface, a novel deep‐learning model for reconstructing 3D facial images only from DNA data. By integrating transformer networks, spiral convolutions, and a diffusion model, Difface directly aligns high‐dimensional SNP data with 3D facial structures.

core
Examples of the application of the confluent hypergeometric functions in miscellaneous areas of the theoretical physics are presented. It is suggested these functions to be utilized as a universal means for solution of a large number of problems ...

Combinatorial identities and hypergeometric series
This paper describes a method to find a connection between combinatorial identities and hypergeometric series with a number of examples. Combinatorial identities can often be written as hypergeometric series with unit argument. In a number of cases these hypergeometric series are balanced and can be reduced to a simpler form.

Proving hypergeometric identities by numerical verifications
AbstractIt is known that proper and q-proper hypergeometric identities can be certified by checking a finite number, say n1, of initial values. By studying the degree and the height of the determinant of a polynomial matrix, we give a new method to estimate n1. Examples show that the new estimates are considerably smaller than the previous results.

This study investigates hypoglycemia‐induced diabetic macrovascular endothelial dysfunction. It reveals that hypoglycemia triggers ZBP1‐dependent PANoptosis of endothelial cells, proinflammatory polarization of macrophages, and fibrosis of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in diabetic mice.

This study identifies ARID1B as a chromatin‐bound driver of tumor growth in TNBC. ARID1B impairs ARID1A function and directly activates oncogenic programs through SWI/SNF remodeling. Its nuclear localization, mediated by the KPNA2–KPNB1–RANBP2 import machinery, is essential for its tumor‐promoting activity.

Modular forms, Schwarzian conditions, and symmetries of differential equations in physics
We give examples of infinite order rational transformations that leave linear differential equations covariant. These examples are non-trivial yet simple enough illustrations of exact representations of the renormalization group.
