Solution of Differential Equations with Polynomial Coefficients with the Aid of an Analytic Continuation of Laplace Transform

open access: yesMathematics, 2016
In a series of papers, we discussed the solution of Laplace’s differential equation (DE) by using fractional calculus, operational calculus in the framework of distribution theory, and Laplace transform.

Organ‐Specific and Conserved Regulatory Logic Orchestrates Gene Expression in the Embryonic Mesothelium

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated multi‐omic profiling maps the gene‐regulatory landscape of the coelomic mesothelium across heart, lung, and pancreas. A cardiac‐restricted regulatory program is uncovered in which TBX20 activates heart mesothelial (epicardial) cis‐regulatory elements, while MAF emerges as a conserved regulator of mesothelial identity.

A Note on Wright-type Generalized q-hypergeometric Function

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика"
In 2001, Virchenko et al. published a paper on a new generalization of Gauss hypergeometric function, namely Wright-type generalized hypergeometric function. Present work aims to define the q-analogue generalized hypergeometric function, which reduces to

Expansions of the Solutions of the General Heun Equation Governed by Two-Term Recurrence Relations for Coefficients

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2018
We examine the expansions of the solutions of the general Heun equation in terms of the Gauss hypergeometric functions. We present several expansions using functions, the forms of which differ from those applied before.

On Matrices Arising in the Finite Field Analogue of Euler’s Integral Transform

open access: yesMathematics, 2013
In his 1984 Ph.D. thesis, J. Greene defined an analogue of the Euler integral transform for finite field hypergeometric series. Here we consider a special family of matrices which arise naturally in the study of this transform and prove a conjecture of ...

Resolution of an Isolated Case of a Quadratic Hypergeometric 2F1 Transformation

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
The identity 2F1(α,β;2α;z)=(1−z2)−β2F1(β2,β+12;α+12;(z2−z)2) given, either by I.S. Gradshteyn and I.M. Ryzhik in Table of integrals series and products named 9.134 or in the handbook “mathematical functions with formulas, graphs and mathematical tables ...

Gaussian Hypergeometric series and supercongruences [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics of Computation, 2009
Let p be an odd prime. In 1984, Greene introduced the notion of hypergeometric functions over finite fields. Special values of these functions have been of interest as they are related to the number of F_p points on algebraic varieties and to Fourier coefficients of modular forms.

Integration of Spatiotemporal Multi‐Omics in Peach Fruit Unravels a Metabolic Niche and the Genetic Basis of Trichome‐Mediated Stress Adaptation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study constructed the first spatiotemporal multi‐omics map of peach fruit and discovered a key candidate gene that synergistically regulates trichome development and drought tolerance through the jasmonic acid signaling pathway, providing insights into the coupling mechanism between development and stress resistance.

A note on a hypergeometric transformation formula due to Slater with an application [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this note we state (with minor corrections) and give an alternative proof of a very general hypergeometric transformation formula due to Slater. As an application, we obtain a new hypergeometric transformation formula for a 5F4(−1) series with one ...

Integrating Radiomics and Computational Pathology to Predict Early Recurrence of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma and Uncover Its Biological Basis in Tumor Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Accurate prediction of early recurrence in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is vital for optimizing treatment. A novel, integrated radiomics‐pathology machine learning model successfully forecasts recurrence risks by analyzing preoperative CT images and computational pathology.
