Combinatorial Identities with Multiple Harmonic-like Numbers

open access: yesAppliedMath
Multiple harmonic-like numbers are studied using the generating function approach. A closed form is stated for binomial sums involving these numbers and two additional parameters.

Generalized Hyperharmonic Number Sums With Reciprocal Binomial Coefficients

open access: yesMathematica Slovaca, 2021
In this paper, we mainly show that generalized hyperharmonic number sums with reciprocal binomial coefficients can be expressed in terms of classical (alternating) Euler sums, zeta values and generalized (alternating) harmonic numbers.

Some Sums Involving Generalized Harmonic and r-Derangement Numbers

open access: yesCumhuriyet Science Journal
In this paper, we derive some sums involving generalized harmonic and r-derangement numbers by using generating functions of these numbers and some combinatorial identities. The relationship between Daehee numbers and generalized harmonic numbers of rank

Formulas Involving Cauchy Polynomials, Bernoulli Polynomials, and Generalized Stirling Numbers of Both Kinds

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, we derive novel formulas and identities connecting Cauchy numbers and polynomials with both ordinary and generalized Stirling numbers, binomial coefficients, central factorial numbers, Euler polynomials, r-Whitney numbers, and ...

Identities involving degenerate stirling numbers of the second kind

open access: yesMathematical and Computer Modelling of Dynamical Systems
Building on Carlitz’s foundational work with degenerate Euler and Bernoulli polynomials, recent research has introduced and studied various degenerate special numbers and polynomials.

Generalizations of the Euler-Mascheroni constant associated with the hyperharmonic numbers

open access: yes, 2021
In this paper, we present two new generalizations of the Euler-Mascheroni constant arising from the Dirichlet series associated to the hyperharmonic numbers. We also give some inequalities related to upper and lower estimates, and evaluation formulas.

An application of hyperharmonic numbers in matrices

open access: yes, 2013
In this study, firstly we defined an n × k matrix, G (r) n,k, whose entries consist of hyperharmonic numbers. Then we obtained relation between Pascal matrices and G r n,k. Finally we calculated the determinant of G r n,n.

On the norms of r-circulant matrices with the hyperharmonic numbers [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Inequalities, 2016
In this paper, we study norms of circulant matrices H = Circ(H-0((k)), H-1((k)), ..., H-n-1((k))), H = Circ(H-k((0)), H-k((1)), ..., H-k((n-1))) and r-circulant matrices H-r = Circ(H-0((k)), H-1((k)), ..., H-n-1((k))), H = Circ(H-k((0)), H-k((1)), ..., H-k((n-1))), where H-n((k)) denotes the nth hyperharmonic number of order r.
