South African Speech‐Language Therapists’ Perceptions of Youth Offenders and Youth Offender Rehabilitation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Language &Communication Disorders, Volume 61, Issue 6, November/December 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Healthcare professionals (HCPs) tend to display similar levels of implicit bias towards certain groups as the general population. This is concerning as such biases are known to result in poorer clinical decision‐making and therapeutic outcomes for offender populations.

Pilot of a Micro‐Randomized Factorial Trial of Self‐Monitoring Feedback in a Behavioral Weight Loss Intervention

open access: yesObesity Science &Practice, Volume 12, Issue 5, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The provision of self‐monitoring feedback has been demonstrated to improve weight loss program outcomes; however, there is little evidence to support how this feedback should be delivered. Micro‐randomized factorial trial designs can examine the proximal impact of intervention components, but their feasibility and acceptability in ...

Identifying Suitable Front Contacts for High‐Efficiency Cd(Se,Te) Solar Cells on Space‐Qualified Cover Glass

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, Volume 34, Issue 10, Page 1277-1291, October 2026.
Front contact selection governs interfacial stability in CdTe‐based (Cd(Se,Te)) solar cells on ultra‐thin space‐qualified cover glass. Optimized TCO/emitter combinations suppress interdiffusion and deliver up to 16.2% AM0 efficiency with high specific power, demonstrating strong potential for lightweight space photovoltaics.

New discretised polynomial expander and incidence estimates

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 10, October 2026.
Abstract We present two applications of recent developments in incidence geometry. One is a δ$\delta$‐discretised version of a particular ‘Elekes–Rónyai’ expander problem. The second is an incidence estimate addressing the scenario in which both tubes, squares and their shadings satisfy non‐concentration assumptions.
