On evaluation of influence coefficients for edge and intermediate boundary elements in 3D problems involving strong field concentrations [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Technical Sciences, 2019
The paper presents a tool for accurate evaluation of high field concentrations near singular lines, such as contours of cracks, notches and grains intersections, in 3D problems solved the BEM. Two types of boundary elements, accounting for singularities,

A Simple, Accurate and Semi-Analytical Meshless Method for Solving Laplace and Helmholtz Equations in Complex Two-Dimensional Geometries

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
A localized virtual boundary element–meshless collocation method (LVBE-MCM) is proposed to solve Laplace and Helmholtz equations in complex two-dimensional (2D) geometries.

Hypersingular integrals and parabolic potentials [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1981
In this paper we characterize the potential spaces associated with the heat equation in terms of singular integrals of mixed homogeneity.

Complete Cubic Polynomial Transformation for Regularizing Nearly Hypersingular Integrals [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied and Computational Mechanics
A classical problem in computational mechanics is the quadrature of nearly singular and hypersingular integrals, such as those that arise in the boundary element method (BEM) when the collocation point is near the integration element.

Extrapolations for hypersingular integrals [PDF]

open access: yesSCIENTIA SINICA Mathematica, 2015
By using the mildpoint trapezoidal rule a generalized Euler-Maclaurin expansion for computing Hadamard finite part values of the hypersingular integrals with a singular point on the inteval interior is shown, where there are some negative exponential terms of the step size in the expansion. It means that the rule is divergent.

Solution of one hypersingular integro-differential equation defined by determinants

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Математика, информатика, 2021
The paper provides an exact analytical solution to a hypersingular inregro-differential equation of arbitrary order. The equation is defined on a closed curve in the complex plane.

Numerical methods of computation of singular and hypersingular integrals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2001
In solving numerous problems in mathematics, mechanics, physics, and technology one is faced with necessity of calculating different singular integrals. In analytical form calculation of singular integrals is possible only in unusual cases.

Regularized Integral Representations of the Reciprocal Gamma Function

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2019
This paper establishes a real integral representation of the reciprocal Gamma function in terms of a regularized hypersingular integral along the real line. A regularized complex representation along the Hankel path is derived.
