Dynamical property of hyperspace on uniform space

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2023
First, we introduce the concepts of equicontinuity, expansivity , ergodic shadowing property, and chain transitivity in uniform space. Second, we study the dynamical properties of equicontinuity, expansivity , ergodic shadowing property, and chain ...

CL(R) is simply connected under the Vietoris topology

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2007
In this paper we present a proof by construction that the hyperspace CL(R) of closed, nonemtpy subsets of R is simply connected under the Vietoris topology. This is useful in considering the convergence of time scales.

From Internet to Smart World

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2015
The development of informationization and intelligentization prompts Internet developing toward a new era. A deep fusion among cyber space, physical space, social space, and thinking space brings a quaternionic cyber-physical-social-thinking hyperspace ...

Mots et discours de science dans la science-fiction

open access: yesSocio, 2019
Science fiction has close ties with science, as we know, but this article focuses more specifically on the words of science, the scientific vocabulary, which we often find in science fiction texts and, in particular, on the enlightening way in which ...

Lifting Dynamical Properties to Hyperspaces

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2014
For a dynamical system (X,f), the passage of various dynamical properties such as transitivity, total transitivity, weakly mixing, mixing, topological exactness, topological conjugacy, to the hyperspace C(X) of X consisting of nonempty closed connected ...

The lifting property for classes of mappings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
The lifting property of continua for classes of mappings is defined. It is shown that the property is preserved under the inverse limit operation. The results, when applied to the class of confluent mappings, exhibit conditions under which the induced ...

Task-Projected Hyperdimensional Computing for Multi-Task Learning

open access: yes, 2020
Brain-inspired Hyperdimensional (HD) computing is an emerging technique for cognitive tasks in the field of low-power design. As a fast-learning and energy-efficient computational paradigm, HD computing has shown great success in many real-world ...

Hyperspace selections avoiding points

open access: yesCommentationes Mathematicae Universitatis Carolinae, 2023
In this paper, we deal with a hyperspace selection problem in the setting of connected spaces. We present two solutions of this problem illustrating the difference between selections for the nonempty closed sets, and those for the at most two-point sets. In the first case, we obtain a characterisation of compact orderable spaces.

Induced dynamics on the hyperspaces

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2016
In this paper, we study the dynamics induced by finite commutative relation on the hyperspaces. We prove that the dynamics induced on the hyperspace by a non-trivial commutative family of continuous self maps cannot be transitive and hence cannot exhibit
