ABSTRACT Background Psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES) resemble epileptic seizures but are caused by psychological factors. Surgical stress can trigger PNES in patients with mental disorders. Case Presentation A 19‐year‐old woman developed PNES after orthognathic surgery.
