Perinatal outcomes and maternal health before and after single motherhood through assisted conception: A multiregistry study in Sweden

Single mothers through assisted conception in Sweden face higher psychiatric risks before and after childbirth compared to partnered women through autologous IVF. Despite comparable perinatal outcomes, our findings highlight the need for comprehensive preconception medical screening and postpartum psychosocial support for these mothers.

Pain and Sedative Medication Use Among Individuals With Inflammatory Bowel Disease: A Nationwide Population‐Based Cohort Study

Over 20% of individuals with IBD were prescribed pain or sedative medications annually, with rising chronic and co‐prescribing rates. Risk factors included female sex, older age, Crohn's disease, and mental health conditions. Targeted interventions are needed to reduce harmful prescribing and promote safer alternatives.
