ISOLATED HYPOGONADOTROPHIC HYPOGONADISM: A FAMILY WITH AUTOSOMAL DOMINANT INHERITANCE

Clinical Endocrinology, 1990
SUMMARYA family is reported in which isolated hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism is inherited as air autosomal dominant condition with variable expression. In previous familial cases, inheritance was autosomal recessive. Comparison is made with the endocrine and genetic findings in Kallmann's syndrome, which should be considered a separate disorder.

FERTILE EUNUCH SYNDROME VERSUS CLASSIC HYPOGONADOTROPHIC HYPOGONADISM

Acta Endocrinologica, 1978
ABSTRACT The functioning of the hypothalamo-pituitary-target organs axis was assessed in 3 patients with 'fertile eunuch' syndrome (FE) and 6 patients with 'classic' hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism (HH) with or without hyposmia. Both groups of patients did not differ from each other with regard to basal serum prolactin levels, pituitary growth hormone ...

Voice Changes after Androgen Therapy for Hypogonadotrophic Hypogonadism

The Laryngoscope, 2004
AbstractObjectives/Hypothesis: Males with isolated hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (IHH) fail to undergo normal sexual development, including the lack of masculinization of the larynx. The objective of this study was to measure the mean vocal fundamental frequency (MF0) in IHH patients and determine the impact of androgen treatment. An additional aim was
