This report presents an adult patient with complex partial seizures who was treated with topiramate and developed hypohidrosis coupled with hyperthermia, related to high environmental temperature and physical exercise.

The association of Adie's syndrome and hypohidrosis is rarely reported. The authors describe a young woman's pupillotonia with reduced sweating over the right half of her trunk and her right upper extremity. Optical and electron microscopy of the skin revealed no pathological changes.

This paper reported a rarely seen case with hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. A 17-year-old female sought for dental treatment due to only one tooth in her oral cavity. Consanguinuous marriage was confirmed in her close three generations. Her skin was dry, smooth and with few fine hairs.
