Ultrasound‐Based Z Score and Pulmonary Valve/Aortic Valve Diameter Ratio Improving the Predictive Value of Fetal Aortic Stenosis

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, Volume 54, Issue 1, Page 64-72, January 2026.
A total of 24 singleton fetuses with suspected AS who underwent two or more fetal echocardiograms were enrolled in this study. Using electronic spatiotemporal image correlation (eSTIC) technology, the AV and PV Z scores, along with the PV/AV ratio, were measured and compared between two echocardiographic examinations to assess diagnostic efficacy ...

Assessing the Utility of Targeted Neonatal Echocardiography for Congenital Heart Disease Detection: Retrospective Cohort Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, Volume 54, Issue 1, Page 81-87, January 2026.
Targeted neonatal echocardiography showed good agreement with cardiology‐performed studies in detecting significant congenital heart disease. Most missed lesions were minor, highlighting both the value of TNE in neonatal care and the need for continued training to optimize diagnostic accuracy.

Combining Detailed Fetal Anatomy Scanning in the NT Window Versus Early Second Trimester Scanning at 14–16 Weeks

open access: yesJournal of Ultrasound in Medicine, Volume 45, Issue 1, Page 105-113, January 2026.
Objectives First‐trimester ultrasound has evolved to incorporate a detailed fetal anatomy scan (FAS) with nuchal translucency (NT) screening. Many institutions use a 2‐visit protocol: NT followed by detailed FAS at 14–16 weeks. We aimed to evaluate whether integrating detailed FAS into the NT window (12 + 5 to 13 + 6 weeks) is non‐inferior in ...

Genotype–Phenotype Correlations in Klinefelter and Turner Syndrome: A Decade of Sex Chromosome Aneuploidy Data From a Single Academic Medical Center

open access: yesMolecular Genetics &Genomic Medicine, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
To understand the relationship between genotype and phenotype in sex chromosome aneuploidies, retrospective cytogenetic and clinical data was collected for Klinefelter Syndrome (n = 57) and Turner Syndrome (n = 92) cases from a single academic medical center from 2013 to 2022. The cohorts were divided into subcategories based on the genotype.

The Incremental Yield of CMA Over Karyotype in Fetal Growth Restriction—A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesPrenatal Diagnosis, Volume 46, Issue 1, Page 56-74, January 2026.
ABSTRACT The main objective of our study was to conduct a systematic literature review and a meta‐analysis to evaluate the incremental yield of chromosomal microarray analysis compared with karyotyping in cases of fetal growth restriction. Our review was designed according to the PRISMA guidelines.
